The African Football Confederation (CAF) Reaffirms Commitment to High-Level Media Services for Morocco’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations
The African Football Confederation (CAF), in coordination with the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), has reiterated its commitment to providing top-notch services for accredited media covering the Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025.
Rabat to Host a State-of-the-Art Main Media Centre
During a joint meeting, CAF and the LOC reviewed the progress of various operational aspects related to media services. A key highlight is the Main Media Centre (MMC) in Rabat, which will serve as the central hub for all accredited media throughout the tournament.
Visa Facilitation via the YALLA App
The LOC provided a detailed update on the e-Visa process for media, accessible through the official YALLA application. Specific measures have been implemented to ensure priority handling of requests from media professionals.
Dedicated Hotlines for Media Assistance
To ensure optimal support, a dedicated phone hotline has been launched to assist accredited media in utilizing the YALLA application. A specific WhatsApp line and a dedicated email address for media services have also been established. Their contact details will be communicated directly to the relevant media.
YALLA: The Official Digital Platform for CAN 2025
The YALLA application serves as the official digital platform for managing various essential services, including visa applications, Fan IDs, ticketing, and access information for fans, officials, and media.
Simplified Procedures for Professionals
This system aims to enable journalists and media technicians to complete all necessary digital processes smoothly and on time related to their travel for CAN Morocco 2025.
Global Media Interest Confirmed
CAF has recorded over 5,400 media accreditation requests from around the world, confirming the international scope and significant appeal of CAN Morocco 2025.
Opening of the Media Centre and Dedicated Transport
The Main Media Centre in Rabat will be operational from Wednesday, December 17, 2025, and will remain open until midnight on the day of the final, scheduled for January 18, 2026. Compliant with international standards, it will offer optimal working conditions.
CAF and the LOC will soon announce the media transport plan, which will include free shuttles in all host cities.
