Weather Forecast for Sunday, February 8 in Morocco

The General Directorate of Meteorology forecasts an unstable atmospheric situation for Sunday, February 8, across the Kingdom, with rain and thunderstorms expected in the regions of Tangier, Loukkos, the Gharb, the Rif, and the Middle Atlas.
Local Rainfall and Snow in the Mountains
Other local rains and showers are anticipated in the High Atlas, Saïs, northern plains, and the northern region of the Oriental. The central plains and the Souss region will experience light and scattered rain.
Snow is also expected on the peaks of the High and Middle Atlas at elevations exceeding 1,800 meters.
Winds and Sandstorms
The Kingdom will experience strong wind gusts along the Mediterranean coast, the Rif, the Atlas, and the eastern part of the country, and moderately strong winds in the northwestern provinces of the South.
Local sandstorms are forecasted in the southern region of the Oriental and in the Sahara provinces.
In the morning, dense low clouds will form along the southern coasts, accompanied by very light localized precipitation.

Minimum Temperatures:
High Atlas: between -4 and 2°C
Rif and plateaus: between 1 and 7°C
Extreme south, Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts: between 13 and 17°C
Rest of the Kingdom: between 7 and 11°C
Maximum Temperatures: a slight decrease expected in the eastern part of the country.
Sea Conditions
Mediterranean Coast: rough with strong waves
Strait (Bab El-Mandeb/Bouregreg): strong to very strong waves
Between Cap Spartel and Essaouira: very strong to dangerous wave conditions
Between Essaouira and Tarfaya: strong to very strong waves
Between Tarfaya and Laâyoune: moderate to rough waves
Southern part of the country: rough with strong waves
