Palestinian Startups Celebrated at Gitex Africa 2026 in Marrakech

Six Innovative Palestinian Startups to Participate in Gitex Africa

Six innovative Palestinian startups will be featured in the fourth edition of Gitex Africa, taking place in Marrakech starting next Tuesday. This participation is supported by the Bayt Mal Al-Qods Acharif Agency, part of the Al-Qods Committee.

Ongoing Support for Palestinian Innovation

This year marks the agency’s third consecutive participation in the event, made possible through a contribution from the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform. The agency will showcase an institutional pavilion as well as a space for its “BMAQ Innovation Hub.”

Diverse Technological Projects

The selected startups, in collaboration with Al-Quds University, span several innovative fields. Among them are:

  • Burhan: A career guidance platform based on artificial intelligence.
  • GrowApp: Focused on the digitalization of nursery services.
  • HowAISees: Specializing in e-commerce optimization using AI.
  • Labebo: Providing rehabilitation solutions for children using interactive 3D technologies.
  • QREDIT: Aiming to facilitate digital payments for SMEs.
  • Hives 360: Utilizing the Internet of Things to modernize beekeeping.

A Space for Exchanges and Partnerships

During the expo, which runs until April 9, the agency’s booth will host presentations, B2B meetings, and exchanges with Moroccan and international players to foster partnerships and market access.

A Lever for Economic Development

According to the agency, this participation represents a strategic opportunity to strengthen the role of Palestinian startups in economic and social development, particularly in Jerusalem. It aligns with their 2024-2027 digital strategy aimed at promoting entrepreneurship and opening new prospects for youth.

A Structured Digital Strategy

Launched in 2024, this strategy focuses on several pillars, including promoting heritage through the "House of Morocco in Jerusalem" platform, supporting startups, fostering solidarity e-commerce, distance learning, and educational applications targeted at young people.

To date, 34 Palestinian startups have benefited from the agency’s support programs, with some having already reached acceleration stages and international markets.
