The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively warm weather for the regions of Saïss, Gharb, Oulmès, and the southeast this Monday, April 27. Misty formations or fog are also expected during the morning and nighttime hours in the northern and central plains, which may occasionally reduce visibility.
Unstable Clouds and Possible Showers
The sky will be partially cloudy along the Mediterranean coast, in the Rif, and in the northern Oriental region. Additionally, unstable clouds will impact the High and Middle Atlas mountain ranges, as well as neighboring areas like Saïss and the phosphate plateaus. Local thunderstorms may occur, accompanied by hail.
Locally Strong Winds
Strong wind gusts are anticipated in the Tanger region, along the central coast, and in the High Atlas and its eastern slopes.
Varied Temperatures
Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 3°C and 10°C in the Atlas mountain ranges, between 9°C and 14°C in the Rif, Oriental, eastern slopes, and the interior of Souss, and between 14°C and 18°C elsewhere. Maximum temperatures will decrease in the central, southern, and southwestern provinces, while rising in other parts of the country.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in the Mediterranean, the Strait, and along the Atlantic coastline.
