Africa Trade Finance Summit: Strengthening the Competitiveness of Moroccan Businesses

The city of Casablanca hosted the ZLECAf Trade Finance Summit, organized by the Moroccan Confederation of Exporters (ASMEX) in partnership with Attijariwafa Bank, with the participation of various economic actors committed to fostering intra-African trade development.
A Strategic Partnership for Businesses
This event was highlighted by the signing of a partnership agreement between Maroc PME and Attijariwafa Bank. This initiative aims to strengthen support for Moroccan enterprises, particularly very small, small, and medium-sized enterprises (VSMEs), in their investment and growth dynamics, especially through their engagement with African and international markets.
Support for Integration into Value Chains
This approach aligns with a commitment to bolster the competitiveness of the national entrepreneurial fabric by facilitating access to financing solutions for companies. The goal is to enhance their integration into regional and international value chains.
Commitment to Intra-African Trade
This meeting also reflects the momentum towards strengthening intra-African trade, viewed as a crucial lever for growth and economic integration on the continent, particularly in light of the opportunities presented by the African Continental Free Trade Area (ZLECAf).
