SFC Automotive Opens a New Strategic Plant in Tangier Med to Strengthen the Automotive Industry in Morocco
The multinational group SFC Automotive Solutions, a subsidiary of the German investment fund Mutares, inaugurated a new industrial unit on Wednesday at the Tanger Med platform. This establishment confirms Morocco’s growing attractiveness for high-value industrial investments.
An Investment of 28 Million Euros
The project required an investment of 28 million euros, approximately 290 million dirhams, and spans an area of 6 hectares.
The industrial unit aims to generate a turnover of 85 million euros and create nearly 900 direct jobs, thereby contributing to the dynamism of the national automotive sector.
Enhancing Production Capacity
This new factory will enable SFC Automotive Solutions to strengthen its production capacities to meet the increasing demand of the international automotive market.
It also seeks to consolidate the group’s relationships with its clients in Europe and America by improving competitiveness and industrial proximity.
An Inauguration Attended by High Officials
The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Minister of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation, Karim Zidane, along with leaders from Mutares and SFC Solutions.
Also present was the General Director of Tanger Med Zones, Ahmed Bennis, and several representatives of local authorities.

According to Minister Karim Zidane, this inauguration illustrates the strengthening of Morocco’s industrial vocation and the trust of international investors in its ecosystem.
It also reaffirms the role of Tanger Med as a leading industrial and logistical platform at both regional and international levels.
With this new unit, SFC Automotive Solutions strengthens its presence in Morocco and contributes to the development of the national automotive industry. The project aligns with the dynamic efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s industrial attractiveness and its positioning in global value chains.
