Morocco–Ireland: A New Dynamic of Strengthened Economic Cooperation in Dublin and Cork

Morocco and Ireland Strengthen Economic Ties Through Upcoming Conferences
Morocco and Ireland are taking a significant step in enhancing their economic relations through two economic conferences scheduled for May 6 and 8, 2026, in Dublin and Cork.
These events, organized to promote Morocco’s offerings on the international stage, were initiated by the Moroccan Agency for Development of Investments and Exports (AMDIE) in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of Morocco in Ireland, the Sandyford Business District in Dublin, and the Little Island Business Association (LIBA) in Cork.
“Doing Business in Morocco” at the Heart of Discussions
Under the theme “Morocco – Ireland: A Partnership Connecting Europe to Africa’s Growth Frontier,” these conferences will highlight the opportunities Morocco offers as an investment and export platform to Africa.
The discussions will showcase the Kingdom’s strengths to Irish economic operators and bolster Morocco’s visibility as a competitive destination for international investments.
Strategic Sectors with High Potential
The conversations will focus on several priority sectors considered vital for developing bilateral economic relations.
These include manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, digital technology, high-value-added services, logistics, and export-oriented activities.
These sectors demonstrate the complementarity between the two economies and the potential for establishing significant partnerships.
Morocco: A Gateway to Africa and Europe
Through this initiative, Morocco reaffirms its position as an economic hub linking Europe to the African continent.
The Kingdom emphasizes its stability, infrastructure, and economic reforms to attract more foreign investors and strengthen its role in global value chains.
A Forward-Looking Cooperation
The organizers highlighted the importance of this economic mission in consolidating Moroccan-Irish relations and creating sustainable bridges between the two business ecosystems.
They also expressed gratitude to all partners and participants for their commitment and contribution to the success of these meetings.
This initiative falls within a vision of enhanced cooperation aimed at building a more connected and prosperous economic future between the two shores.
