Weather Forecast for Friday, February 21, 2025

The General Directorate of Meteorology has provided the following weather forecast:

• Expect relatively cold weather with localized frost in the morning and at night over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif region, and the Eastern high plateaus.
• Low clouds and misty conditions will persist in the morning and at night across the northern Atlantic plains, central plains, northern Oriental region, the Mediterranean coast, and near the southern coasts.
• New rain is anticipated to arrive the following night in the extreme northwest of the country.
• Moderate to strong gusts of wind will raise dust in the southernmost areas of the country.
• Minimum temperatures are expected to range from -03 to 03°C in the High and Middle Atlas regions, from 02 to 10°C in the Rif, the Phosphate plateaus, Oulmès, the Eastern high plateaus, and the Saiss region, and from 08 to 17°C in other areas.
• Maximum temperatures are on the rise.
• The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean, slightly to moderately rough in the Strait, and rough to very rough with locally slight to moderate conditions between Tan-Tan and Laâyoune.
