The General Directorate of Meteorology anticipates relatively warm to hot weather across the interior plains, the Saïss region, the southeast of the Kingdom, and the interior of the Southern provinces.
Unstable clouds are also expected to develop over the Atlas Mountains and the southeastern part of the country, with scattered showers potentially accompanied by local thunderstorms. Misty conditions or fog are predicted for the morning and overnight on the Mediterranean coast, as well as locally in the northern and central plains.
Strong Wind Gusts and Localized Dust
Strong wind gusts are forecasted in some areas along the southern coast, with localized dust phenomena likely to occur.
Minimum temperatures will range from 6 to 13°C in the High and Middle Atlas mountains, from 20 to 25°C in the southeast, the eastern part of the country, and the extreme south of the Saharan provinces, and between 14 and 19°C across the rest of the territory.
Slight Increase in Temperatures in Several Regions
Maximum temperatures are expected to experience a slight decrease in the Southern provinces, while a moderate increase is predicted for most other regions of the Kingdom.
As for the sea conditions, it will be calm in the Mediterranean, calm to slightly choppy in the Strait, slightly choppy to rough between Cape Spartel and Laâyoune, and rough in the southern part of the country.
