Weather in Morocco: Persistent Heat and Strong Winds on Monday, July 13

The General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts a relatively warm weather pattern across the southeast of the Kingdom, specifically in the Oriental region, the Moulouya Valley, Saïss, the Tadla plains, and the interior regions of the southern provinces on Monday, July 13, 2026.

Low clouds accompanied by fog patches are also expected in certain areas along the Atlantic coast during the morning and night.

Strong wind gusts will blow across the Oriental, southeast, and southern provinces, with a local risk of sandstorms in exposed areas.

Minimum temperatures will range between 26°C and 30°C in the south of the Oriental and the extreme southern part of the country, 22°C to 26°C in the southeast and the Moulouya Valley, 13°C to 16°C in the Atlas and Rif mountain ranges, and 16°C to 22°C elsewhere in the Kingdom.

Maximum temperatures will see a slight increase or remain generally stable across the territory.

At sea, conditions will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait of Gibraltar, while the Atlantic Ocean will experience mild to moderate conditions.
