Berkane Launches Water, Electricity, and Sanitation Projects Worth 43.6 Million Dirhams

On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of Throne Day, the province of Berkane has launched a new series of structural projects aimed at improving drinking water, electricity, and sanitation services. These investments reflect the authorities’ commitment to modernizing essential infrastructure and supporting the urban and economic development of the province.
The launch ceremony was attended by the provincial governor, officials from the Multiservice Regional Company of the Oriental (SRM Oriental), as well as various elected representatives and local institution representatives.
An investment of over 43.6 million dirhams
To realize these projects, SRM Oriental has mobilized a budget of 43.6 million dirhams, entirely financed from its own funds.
This program aims to strengthen infrastructure related to drinking water distribution, electricity supply, and sanitation networks, addressing the increasing needs brought about by population growth and urbanization in the province.
More efficient and sustainable networks
The planned work will modernize equipment and improve the performance of networks through the integration of innovative technical solutions.
