Morocco Climbs to 12th Place in FIFA World Rankings

Morocco has made significant strides, moving up two places in the latest FIFA World Rankings released this Thursday, reclaiming the 12th position.

Thanks to recent victories against Niger and Tanzania, the national team accrued an additional 6.06 points, bringing their total to 1694.24 points. Morocco benefited from the underperformance of Uruguay and Colombia, which each dropped two places.

The Atlas Lions continue to lead the African rankings, ahead of Senegal, which has fallen to 19th place in the world with 1630.32 points. Egypt holds the third spot in Africa, ranking 32nd globally with 1518.79 points.

The Netherlands has climbed one spot to 6th, surpassing Portugal, now in 7th. Belgium (8th), Italy (9th), and Germany (10th) maintain their positions in the Top 10, with Croatia (11th) and Morocco (12th) nipping at their heels.
