T2S Holding Excels at the Casablanca Stock Exchange with a Nearly 20% Surge

The Casablanca Stock Exchange closed in positive territory this Monday, buoyed by the strong performance of several key stocks. The main index, MASI, increased by 0.75%, ending the day at 17,875.62 points, primarily supported by substantial gains in the shares of T2S Holding and Managem.

Conversely, the MASI.20 index, which includes the twenty largest quoted companies, slightly declined by 0.27%, settling at 1,313.66 points. Meanwhile, the MASI ESG, which focuses on companies with the best governance and environmental and social responsibility practices, saw an increase of 1.46%, reaching 1,284.87 points.

The MASI Mid and Small Cap index, representing small and medium-sized companies, also showed positive movement, appreciating by 0.82% to 1,766.55 points, confirming an improvement in this market segment’s performance.

The international indices FTSE CSE Morocco 15 and FTSE CSE Morocco All-Liquid also finished the session on an upward trend, with respective gains of 0.38% and 0.63%, reflecting a sustained positive dynamic in the Casablanca market.

The total trading volume exceeded 2.09 billion dirhams, with nearly 300.2 million dirhams executed on the central stock market. T2S Holding was responsible for the majority of transactions, with over 222.69 million dirhams, followed by Label Vie (23.95 million dirhams) and Jet Contractors (15.45 million dirhams).

The market capitalization of the Casablanca Stock Exchange remained above 1.031 trillion dirhams, reaffirming the robustness of the listed companies’ valuations.

In individual stock performances, T2S Holding achieved the highest increase of the session, soaring by 19.98% to close at 267.55 dirhams. It was followed by Managem, which rose by 9.12% to 1,364 dirhams, and Zellidja (+6.17%), Les Boissons du Maroc (+4.48%), and Stroc Industrie (+4%).

On the downside, M2M Group recorded the most significant drop of the day, with its stock declining by 6.43% to 362.50 dirhams. Rebab Company fell by 5.96%, followed by Bank of Africa (-2.94%), Cartier Saada (-2.26%), and Sanlam Maroc (-2.21%).
