AKDITAL Launches Its Academy to Train 10,000 Employees

The private health group AKDITAL has taken a significant step forward in its strategy to develop skills with the launch of AKDITAL Academy. This internal training structure is designed to support the growth of the network, enhance the expertise of its teams, and respond to the evolving demands of the healthcare professions in Morocco.
An Academy to Support the Group’s Growth
The launch comes amid a period of strong expansion for AKDITAL. The group now employs 10,256 people across 45 facilities located in 26 cities throughout the Kingdom, with a total capacity of 4,864 beds. Since the beginning of 2026, 362 new recruits have joined its ranks.
With AKDITAL Academy, the group aims to further structure its training policy and develop a system capable of tracking the evolution of its human resources needs as the network continues to grow.
From Onboarding New Recruits to Career Development
The Academy will cover several stages of employees’ professional journeys. The initiative is designed to facilitate the onboarding of new hires, support the development of existing employees, and prepare team members for new responsibilities.
Training programs will combine theoretical lessons, practical exercises, and field immersion experiences. AKDITAL also plans to offer remote training sessions and aims to leverage the expertise of industry professionals to enhance the transmission of skills and best practices.
An Initial Cohort of 50 Employees
The first cohort, consisting of about 50 employees from operational roles, marks the concrete launch of the program. The group plans to gradually expand training to include other professional categories, particularly in the paramedical fields.
This scaling will be implemented based on the needs identified across the various facilities within the network, with the goal of aligning available competencies with the operational requirements of each establishment.
Over 41,000 Training Hours in 2025
The establishment of AKDITAL Academy aligns with a training policy already developed by the group. In 2025, AKDITAL organized 462 training sessions covering 326 topics.
These programs benefited 2,703 participants and totaled 41,822 training hours. The new Academy aims to provide greater coherence and visibility to these efforts by uniting various training initiatives under a dedicated structure.
Training to Support Internal Mobility
Beyond technical training, AKDITAL Academy will also play a role in onboarding new employees and fostering professional mobility within the group. The goal is to establish a common framework that facilitates the transmission of work methods and group standards while supporting career advancements.
According to Mourad Benhammacht, the Secretary General of AKDITAL, investment in skills development must progress at the same pace as that devoted to infrastructure development. The challenge is to anticipate the skill requirements generated by the network’s future expansion.
Professor El Houcine El Ouardi, Advisor to the AKDITAL Presidency overseeing the Academy, emphasizes the importance of this initiative in the healthcare sector. In this field, the quality of care heavily relies on the skill level of the teams and their ability to update their practices.
AKDITAL Continues Its Expansion in Morocco
Listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange in December 2022 under the symbol AKT, AKDITAL is simultaneously expanding its network of facilities and developing its healthcare offerings throughout the Kingdom.
With the launch of AKDITAL Academy, the group adds a new dimension to its expansion strategy. Internal training becomes a key tool to support network growth, enhance available skills, and prepare teams for the future demands of the healthcare sector in Morocco.
