Greek Company Plastika Kritis SA Expands Into the Moroccan Market
Plastika Kritis SA, a Greek company, is continuing its international expansion by focusing on the Moroccan market. The firm has announced its plans to acquire 100% of the shares of Naturplas Industrial SARL, a Moroccan-based company specializing in the production of plastic solutions for the agricultural sector.
This operation, which remains subject to approval from the Competition Authority, marks a new milestone in the development of the plasticulture market in the Kingdom.
Acquisition of 100% of the Capital
The project involves the purchase of 100% of Naturplas Industrial’s shares as well as all voting rights associated with the company. Once validated by the relevant authorities, this acquisition will allow Plastika Kritis to gain full control over the Moroccan enterprise.
This move is part of the Greek group’s expansion strategy, which is already present in several international markets in the field of agricultural plastic films.
Two Specialists in Plastic Solutions for Agriculture
Based in Heraklion, Crete, Plastika Kritis SA is renowned for manufacturing and marketing plastic films designed for agricultural use. Its catalog includes mulch films, covers for greenhouses and agricultural tunnels, silage films, and biodegradable solutions that meet new environmental standards.
Naturplas Industrial, headquartered in Tangier with a production facility in Tétouan, offers a wide range of products for agricultural enterprises. The company produces greenhouse films, mulch films, irrigation sleeves, silage tarps, and insect protection nets.
The Moroccan Plasticulture Market Attracts Investors
Through this operation, the Greek group is strengthening its position in the plasticulture market, a sector encompassing all plastic products used in agricultural activities to boost yields, optimize irrigation, and protect crops.
If it receives the green light from the Competition Authority, this acquisition could enhance the industrial capabilities of the sector and support the development of innovative agricultural solutions in Morocco.
