Health: Partnership Between FM6SS and Crédit Agricole of Morocco

Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health Partners with Crédit Agricole Maroc to Enhance Healthcare Access and Preventive Medicine
On Thursday, October 29, 2026, the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS) and Crédit Agricole Maroc signed a partnership agreement aimed at improving access to healthcare, developing preventive medicine, and supporting training initiatives. This agreement also outlines tailored financial solutions for students and employees of both institutions, with a particular focus on rural populations.
A Partnership Focused on Healthcare Access and Prevention
The agreement was signed at the Mohammed VI International University Hospital in Rabat by Professor Lahcen Belyamani, CEO of the FM6SS, and Mohamed Fikrat, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crédit Agricole Maroc.
Through this collaboration, bank clients and employees will gain access, under agreed conditions, to the current and future hospitals operated by the Foundation. The initiative aims to facilitate access to healthcare services and enhance preventative actions, particularly in terms of screening, early diagnosis, and awareness-raising activities.
This approach seeks to promote earlier intervention in health issues and encourage the development of preventive practices among beneficiaries.
Preventive Medicine in Close Proximity to Rural Populations
One key aspect of the partnership is the effort to bring healthcare services closer to rural populations. To achieve this, both institutions plan to leverage the Mohammed VI Center for Preventive Medicine, Longevity, and Performance, along with the mobile units of Crédit Agricole Maroc.
This complementary strategy is designed to bolster awareness, screening, and preventive measures among the targeted populations. It aligns with a community-focused approach, acknowledging the access challenges that some residents in rural areas may face when seeking medical care.
The partnership thus emphasizes the importance of prevention, extending beyond mere medical treatment to promote information dissemination and early diagnosis.
Training and Financial Solutions on the Agenda
The agreement also includes the establishment of health education programs and training for employees of Crédit Agricole Maroc. These initiatives are intended to enhance their knowledge of prevention and encourage better health practices.
On the financial side, the agreement provides tailored solutions for students at Mohammed VI University of Science and Health and employees of the FM6SS.
Through these various initiatives, the FM6SS and Crédit Agricole Maroc aim to combine medical expertise, prevention, training, and financial assistance to address complementary needs.
This partnership exemplifies the commitment of both institutions to develop joint actions in the health sector, while facilitating access to care and strengthening awareness efforts, particularly among rural communities.
