EcoFinance Analytics launches EcoIA, an AI dedicated to the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

Moroccan Fintech EcoFinance Analytics Launches EcoIA, an AI Assistant Designed to Make Financial Information More Accessible

EcoFinance Analytics, a Moroccan fintech, announced on October 14, 2026, in Casablanca the launch of EcoIA, a conversational assistant dedicated to the Moroccan financial market. This innovative tool is integrated into the company’s Super-App and is designed to analyze official documents, explain financial indicators, and cite its sources—without providing investment recommendations.

This new solution aims to enhance the fintech ecosystem, following the introduction of EcoTALKS, a financial social network, and EcoQUIZZ, a daily financial education tool.

Making Financial Data More Understandable

The primary goal of EcoIA is to simplify the understanding of financial data published by companies listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange. Annual reports, which often tend to be lengthy and technical, can pose challenges for individuals seeking to grasp company performance and market mechanisms better.

An AI Driven by Official Financial Documents

Integrated into the EcoFinance Analytics app, EcoIA allows users to ask questions in everyday language and receive answers based on official financial documents. Its resource base includes financial reports from issuers submitted to the Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) from 2019 to 2026, performance data of collective investment schemes provided by ASFIM, and information from the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

According to the company, the data is continuously updated. Financial ratios, such as Price-Earnings Ratio (PER), Return on Equity (ROE), Return on Assets (ROA), average annual growth, and free float, are calculated using dedicated tools rather than being generated directly by the language model.

EcoIA also emphasizes pedagogy by providing beginner-friendly explanations, particularly regarding reading balance sheets, understanding ratios, and their interpretations.

“EcoIA is a translator, not a guru,” explains Hal Benchetrit, founder and CEO of EcoFinance Analytics, emphasizing the commitment to make financial reports understandable without replacing the investor’s decision-making process.

An Information Tool, Without Buy or Sell Recommendations

The fintech clarifies that EcoIA is not an investment advisor. The assistant does not provide buy or sell signals, price targets, yield forecasts, or personalized recommendations.

When a user inquires about which stock to buy, the tool presents facts, indicators, and explanations, leaving the final decision up to the user. EcoFinance Analytics states that this positioning has been tested through hundreds of inquiries, some of which attempted to bypass the constraints set for the assistant.

The company aims to prioritize transparency and verifiability of information in a context where individual investors may be vulnerable to unverified advice on social media.

Free Access and Subscription Model

EcoIA became available on October 14 in the EcoFinance Analytics app, accessible on the App Store for iOS and Google Play for Android.

Free access allows users to pose one question per day, while a paid subscription, priced at 65 DH (including tax) per month, provides unlimited questions.

Founded by Hal Benchetrit, EcoFinance Analytics is a Moroccan fintech recognized as a "Young Innovative Company." It is developing a Super-App focused on investment and financial education, which includes EcoTALKS, EcoQUIZZ, and EcoIA, with the launch of EcoINVEST announced as the next step in its development.
