AXA Services Morocco, UM5, and EST Salé: A Strategic Partnership to Enhance Student Employability

A University-Business Partnership for Youth Employment

AXA Services Morocco is accelerating its commitment to training and employability in the country. On April 15 in Rabat, the company formalized the signing of two agreements with Mohammed V University (UM5) and the Higher School of Technology in Salé (ESTS). This initiative aims to create a lasting synergy between higher education and the business world.

At the heart of this collaboration is the desire to bridge the gap between academic skills and labor market needs, a major challenge for the integration of young graduates in Morocco.

Training Tailored to Market Needs

The agreements provide for the development of custom training programs, which include degree programs, certification courses, and continuing education. These pathways will be designed in close collaboration with AXA Services Morocco to meet the concrete requirements of professions, particularly in the insurance and services sector.

The objective is clear: to equip students with operational skills that are immediately valuable in the job market.

Work-Study as a Key Lever for Professional Integration

Among the key focuses of this partnership is the establishment of a work-study program at the EST in Salé, dedicated to careers in insurance. This model, which combines academic training with practical experience, serves as an effective lever to facilitate students’ transition into the professional world.

AXA Services Morocco also commits to hosting students for internships, final projects, and research work, thereby enhancing their immersion in a real professional environment.

AXA Services Morocco Invests in Tomorrow’s Talent

Through this initiative, the group reaffirms its commitment to developing human capital. According to its General Director, Thierry Goument, this partnership reflects a clear ambition: to support young talents and collaboratively design pathways aligned with the strategic needs of the company.

For its part, Mohammed V University, led by President Mohammed Rhachi, emphasizes the importance of strengthening ties with the socio-economic ecosystem to enhance students’ employability.

Research, Innovation, and Career Opportunities

Beyond training, the agreements also incorporate a scientific and technological dimension. Joint research projects, as well as the organization of conferences, seminars, and hackathons, will enrich this collaboration.

In parallel, AXA Services Morocco will contribute to identifying recruitment needs, disseminating job offers, and providing access to professional opportunities ranging from internships to entry-level jobs.
