The 16th Edition of Brand Africa 100: Morocco’s Most Admired Brands
The 16th edition of Brand Africa 100 | Morocco’s Most Admired Brands celebrated 22 brands and 7 Moroccan leaders featured among the "Top 100 Most Influential CMOs in Africa," underscoring the vibrancy of marketing and brand image in Morocco.
Organized in Casablanca by Integrate, the official partner of Brand Africa in Morocco, in collaboration with Brendz, this event brought together economic stakeholders, business leaders, marketing professionals, and institutional and media representatives. The ceremony honored the most admired Moroccan brands for their ability to earn consumer trust and preference.
Brand Africa 100: A Benchmark Across the Continent
Regarded as one of the leading indicators of brand perception in Africa, Brand Africa 100 is based on a comprehensive independent study conducted among consumers in 31 countries, representing over 85% of the continent’s population and GDP.
This ranking now serves as a reference point for measuring the attractiveness, influence, and value of African brands in a rapidly evolving economic landscape.
22 Moroccan Brands Recognized for Their Performance and Influence
In total, 22 brands were awarded distinctions in various categories of the national ranking. These accolades reflect the ability of Moroccan companies to innovate, create value, and establish lasting relationships with their consumers.
This recognition also highlights the rising prominence of “Made in Morocco” brands, which constitute 23% of the national Top 100—significantly higher than the estimated 15% pan-African average.
Morocco: An Economy in Transformation Driven by Brands
During the ceremony, speakers highlighted the strategic role of brands in the country’s economic transformation. According to the organizers, Morocco is no longer just experiencing growth but is now engaged in a structural transformation dynamic.
It was also noted that nearly 75% of the value of major Moroccan companies is now derived from intangible assets, a level that surpasses that observed in several major emerging economies.
Acknowledgment of Morocco’s Influence in Africa
The results of this edition also confirm the positive perception of Morocco on a continental scale. African consumers recognize the Kingdom as one of the most admired nations for its contribution to the development of a more integrated and prosperous Africa.
This recognition bolsters Morocco’s position as a significant economic and institutional player on the continent, particularly in the areas of innovation, competitiveness, and brand development.
