Casablanca: A New App to Modernize Wholesale Fruit and Vegetable Market Management

Casablanca Prestations has launched a project to redesign the SIMGAN application, which is used for managing the wholesale market of fruits and vegetables in Casablanca. The goal is to equip this platform with a modern, centralized, and secure system that can enhance performance, improve data reliability, and elevate the quality of services provided to users.
Complete Overhaul of the SIMGAN System
A tender has been issued for the modernization of the current application, which encompasses several essential functions: user and processing unit management, monitoring incoming shipments and weighing, as well as managing products, customers, and packaging.
This initiative arises from the obsolescence of the current architecture. The new solution must enable a comprehensive transformation of the system by integrating more efficient, scalable, and secure tools.
An Integrated and More Efficient Platform
The future system will cover the entire management cycle of operations, from logging incoming shipments to settling associated taxes and fees.
It will specifically include traceability features that allow for the identification of products, their sources, quantities, participants, and access conditions. A dedicated module will also track the locations of goods loading points.
A Digital Portal for Users
The solution will also feature a secure client portal, providing users with the ability to check their financial status, monitor their taxes and fees, and access their payment history, invoices, and adjustments.
The portal will also facilitate stock management and monitoring, including the recording of incoming and outgoing movements as well as the history of operations.
A Rapidly Growing Activity
This project comes amid record performance for the Casablanca wholesale market in 2025. The volume handled reached 1.7 million tons, marking a 6% increase compared to 2024.
Revenue has also risen to 187 million dirhams, reflecting a 6% increase, while truck traffic grew by 5%, totaling 244,706 entries for the year, confirming the market’s upward trend.
