Chaibia Belbzioui Alaoui Elected National President of AFEM for the 2026-2029 Term

The Association of Women Business Leaders in Morocco (AFEM) turns a new page in its history. During its electing general assembly held at the headquarters of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), the organization elected Chaibia Belbzioui Alaoui as its national president for the term 2026-2029, succeeding Leïla Doukali.
A New President at the Helm of AFEM
The Association of Women Business Leaders in Morocco (AFEM) elected Chaibia Belbzioui Alaoui as its national president at its elective general assembly on June 25 at the headquarters of the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM).
She succeeds Leïla Doukali and will lead the association for the 2026-2029 term.
A New Dynamic for Women’s Entrepreneurship
This election signifies the beginning of a new chapter for AFEM, which aims to continue its commitment to the development of women’s entrepreneurship in Morocco.
Under the presidency of Chaibia Belbzioui Alaoui, the association aims to strengthen its role in supporting women entrepreneurs, fostering innovation, and contributing to the economic development of the Kingdom through a collaborative and inclusive approach.
Continuing Support for Women Business Leaders
AFEM intends to continue supporting initiatives that promote the creation, development, and sustainability of women-led businesses, while reinforcing partnerships with institutional and economic stakeholders.
Following her election, the new president expressed her gratitude to the association’s members for their trust, as well as to AFEM’s partners for their support, reaffirming her commitment to advancing female leadership and entrepreneurship in Morocco.
