Marriott International continues its expansion in Morocco with the inauguration of the Taghazout Bay Marriott Resort, the first establishment in the Kingdom to carry the Marriott Resort brand. This new opening confirms the group’s growing interest in the Moroccan destination and enhances the appeal of Taghazout Bay in the upscale tourism market.
A 250-Room Resort in the Heart of Taghazout Bay
Located within the seaside resort of Taghazout Bay, north of Agadir, the hotel complex features 250 rooms, including 29 suites. The accommodations offer views of the Atlantic Ocean, gardens, or swimming pools, thanks to private balconies and terraces designed for optimal comfort.
The project is characterized by architecture inspired by Moroccan coastal heritage, combined with international luxury hotel standards. Natural materials and elements from local craftsmanship contribute to creating an elegant and authentic identity.
A Comprehensive Offering of Leisure, Wellness, and Gastronomy
The resort boasts three restaurants serving Mediterranean cuisine, along with specialties inspired by Mexican and Californian traditions.
The facilities also include four outdoor pools, two padel courts, and a modern gym, while a spa and a children’s club are set to enhance the service offerings soon.
Avenue for Business Tourism
Beyond leisure tourism, the complex aims to attract business clientele with a 450 m² reception hall that can accommodate up to 540 people, along with several spaces dedicated to meetings, conferences, and professional events.
Taghazout Bay Continues its Tourism Development
The opening of this new establishment will increase Taghazout Bay’s accommodation capacity to nearly 4,800 beds, further solidifying the resort’s position as one of Morocco’s premier beach and upscale destinations.
This new investment accompanies the rising prominence of Taghazout Bay, which aims to offer a tourism experience that blends beaches, sports, leisure, nature, and hotel facilities that meet international standards.
