ONCF Launches Its 2026 Summer Program with 237 Trains per Day to Meet High Demand

The National Office of Railways (ONCF) has announced an exceptional summer program scheduled to run from June 22 to September 13, 2026. This initiative aims to address the expected increase in rail traffic across the national network during the summer season, characterized each year by a significant movement of travelers.

According to ONCF, this plan is based on a substantial mobilization of human, technical, and logistical resources to accommodate millions of passengers, especially Moroccans living abroad and tourists. The goal is to ensure comfort, safety, and smooth traffic flow.

237 Daily Trains and Enhanced Main Lines

As part of this program, 237 trains will operate daily on the national network. The service will be strengthened on the most requested destinations to increase capacity and facilitate travel.

The Al Boraq high-speed train service will have 30 daily trains connecting Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca, with an hourly frequency from 6 AM to 10 PM, and additional capacity during peak hours.

The Al Atlas trains will operate approximately 70 departures daily, enhancing interregional connections and night trains along the Tangier–Oujda route, along with new stops between Safi and Benguerir.

Enhanced Connections to Mohammed V Airport

The express shuttle trains will also be enhanced with 36 round-trip services to Mohammed V Airport from Casablanca, with a train every hour from 6 AM to 11 PM, while maintaining the usual services between Casablanca, Rabat, Kenitra, Settat, and El Jadida.

Promotional Offers and New Subscriptions

To support this period of high demand, ONCF is launching several commercial offers:

250,000 tickets at 49 dirhams through the “Yalla Al Atlas” offer (available with early booking)

“SAYFI” card offering a 30% discount on 10 trips on the Al Boraq, Al Atlas, and express shuttle trains during off-peak hours

“Ahlan Family” offer aimed at Moroccans abroad with a 30% discount and free travel for children

A new card for those aged 31-59 providing a 15% discount on tickets

Group discounts of up to 25%

Partnerships also provide discounts of up to 30% on some leisure activities, in addition to combined “train + car” services.

An Enhanced Mobilization for Summer

ONCF has also announced that it will bolster welcoming and assistance teams at stations and on trains, as well as mobilize technical teams available 24/7 to ensure service continuity.

The office recommends that travelers purchase their tickets in advance to avoid large crowds and ensure seat availability through digital platforms, ticket counters, or automatic dispensers.

This program is part of a comprehensive strategy aimed at absorbing a significant growth in summer traffic and improving the travel experience through a smoother service better adapted to demand.
