The Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé Redefines Luxury in Morocco from the Mohammed VI Tower

Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé: A New Luxury Destination at the Heart of Mohammed VI Tower

Nestled within the spectacular Mohammed VI Tower, the newly opened Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé marks the prestigious Hilton brand’s debut in Morocco. Spanning from the 29th to the 46th floors of this iconic structure, which reaches a height of 250 meters, the hotel aspires to become a new benchmark for high-end luxury in the Moroccan capital.

An Iconic Address in Rabat’s New Face

Already considered one of the new architectural symbols of the Kingdom, the Mohammed VI Tower stands out in the landscape of Rabat and Salé with its futuristic silhouette reminiscent of a rocket.

The project, envisioned by businessman Othman Benjelloun, embodies the desire to fuse technological innovation with the appreciation of Moroccan heritage. The building houses nearly 7,000 works of art and craftsmanship, along with an immersive observatory that recounts the history of Rabat-Salé.

According to Guy Bertaud, the establishment reflects "the very essence of the Waldorf Astoria brand, balancing heritage and modernity."

Decor Designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon

The hotel’s interior design has been entrusted to the renowned interior architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, famous for his work in some of the world’s leading luxury hotels.

The decor reinterprets Moroccan art de vivre through a contemporary lens, blending newly designed zelliges, artisanal ironworks, sculpted ceilings, and noble materials such as leather, brass, and sycamore wood.

The ambiance is enhanced by vast windows that provide spectacular panoramic views of the Bouregreg River, the medina of Salé, the Hassan Tower, and the Atlantic Ocean.

Exceptional Suites with Capital Views

The hotel features 55 accommodations, including 17 rooms and 38 suites ranging from 50 to 550 square meters. Each space is designed as a luxurious cocoon that combines technological comfort with understated elegance.

Guests enjoy personalized service with dedicated concierge assistance, while the sweeping city views offer a unique immersive experience, both day and night.

A Culinary Offering Helmed by Alain Ducasse

In terms of gastronomy, Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé focuses on a high-end offering led by Chef Alain Ducasse.

The signature restaurant “Aldabaran” features refined cuisine inspired by the Riviera, showcasing seasonal produce and natural ingredients.

The establishment also boasts several other dining venues, including “Peacock Alley,” inspired by the legendary New York hotel, and “Le Magnolia,” run by Moroccan chef Lahcen Hafid, who reinterprets Moroccan and Mediterranean flavors.

A Spa Suspended Between Sky and River

Located on the 31st and 32nd floors, the spa is one of the hotel’s highlights. It includes a panoramic indoor pool, relaxation areas, and a premium treatment menu that utilizes products from Valmont and marocMaroc.

An additional outdoor space with a heated pool and landscaped garden further enhances the wellness offerings, all with a view of the Bouregreg River.

A New Showcase of Moroccan Luxury

With this inaugural property in Morocco, Waldorf Astoria aims to strengthen Hilton’s presence in the Kingdom, where several openings of high-end hotels are planned in the coming years, including in Tangier.

Accessible exclusively by car and offering tailored experiences through its concierge service, the Waldorf Astoria Rabat-Salé is already establishing itself as a landmark destination for luxury tourism in Morocco.
