Royal Air Maroc Prepares for the 2026 World Cup with Special Flight Program for Fans
As the 2026 World Cup approaches, Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is implementing a special initiative to facilitate travel for Moroccan supporters heading to the United States to cheer for the Lions of the Atlas.
The national airline is planning a special program of extra flights to cater to the high demand anticipated during the tournament.
A Program of 32 Special Flights to the United States
As part of this initiative, RAM will schedule 32 special flights to New York, Boston, and Atlanta, which are the host cities for the Moroccan national team’s matches. This transportation plan will accommodate over 8,800 supporters during the group stage of the 2026 World Cup.
Tailored Offer for Enthusiastic Fans
The flights will be spread out between June 13 and June 24, 2026, coinciding with the matches in the first round of the competition. The national airline is also enhancing its regular services to the United States to meet the enthusiasm of Moroccan supporters wishing to follow their team on site.
New Routes to Unexplored American Destinations
In addition to this program, Royal Air Maroc is introducing new routes, including one to Atlanta, a destination they have never served before. This expansion reflects the airline’s adaptability to changing travel flows associated with major international sporting events.
Special Fares for Supporters
RAM will offer a dedicated fare for Moroccan supporters, set at approximately 10,000 dirhams for a round trip in economy class, with fixed dates and non-refundable tickets. This offer aims to make travel more accessible for as many fans as possible who wish to support the national team.
Enhanced Logistics for a Global Event
Tickets will go on sale starting May 20, 2026, through the airline’s commercial agencies as well as its dedicated online platform. This initiative builds on the efforts made during Morocco’s previous participations in major international competitions, further establishing RAM’s role as a key player in facilitating fan mobility.
