Yassine El Maguiri Takes Presidency of the Order of Chartered Accountants for the 2026-2029 Term
The National Council of the Order of Chartered Accountants has officially established its new leadership team for the term 2026-2029. Following the elections held on May 21, the elected members appointed a new bureau tasked with overseeing the governance of the institution.
Yassine El Maguiri Elected President
In a meeting aimed at finalizing the organization of the Order, the eleven members of the National Council selected Yassine El Maguiri as the new president of the Order of Chartered Accountants. He succeeds the previous administration and is entrusted with steering the strategic directions of the profession over the next three years.
To assist him in his role, Aziz El Khattabi has been appointed as the first vice-president, while Choukri Boukhar will take on the responsibilities of the second vice-president.
A Renewed Leadership Team
The new bureau also includes Adnane Faouzi, designated as the Secretary General, and Youssef El Ouadi, who has been appointed as the Treasurer of the National Council.
Additionally, six members will serve as advisors: Samir Agoumi, Ilham Benhlima, Mohamed Samir Bennis, Karim Bennouna, Narjis El-Mohib, and Abderrahman Laaroussi.
A Mandate Focused on Continuity and Development
This new governance aims to continue the development of the accounting profession in Morocco, strengthen the missions of the Order, and support the sector’s evolution in a constantly changing economic environment.
The term 2026-2029 begins with a renewed team prepared to tackle the challenges of modernization, governance, and enhancing the value of the accounting profession within the national economy.
