Morocco Crowned Champion of the Arab Cup 2025

In a thrilling and eventful final, the Moroccan national football team triumphed in the Arab Cup (Qatar-2025), defeating Jordan with a score of 3-2 after extra time, on Thursday at Lusail Stadium in Doha.
The Atlas Lions took an early lead in the 4th minute with a spectacular long-range goal from Oussama Tannane. Upon returning from the break, Jordan equalized in the 48th minute through Ali Olwan, who then gave his team the lead by converting a penalty in the 68th minute.
With their backs against the wall, the Atlas Lions fought back, bringing the score to 2-2 in the 87th minute thanks to Abderrazzaq Hamed-Allah, just three minutes before the end of regulation time, thus forcing extra time. During the first period of extra time, the Moroccan striker scored the decisive goal in the 100th minute, sealing Morocco’s victory.
This victory marks Morocco’s second title in the Arab Cup, following their first triumph in 2012.
