Weather Forecast in Morocco: A Tuesday Characterized by Cold Temperatures and Snowfall

The weather forecast issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology for Tuesday, December 30, 2025:

– Quite cold to cold weather with frost expected over the Atlas Mountains, the Rif, and the high plateaus.

– Partly cloudy conditions in the northern half of the country, with rain or showers over the Atlantic plains north of El Jadida.

– Light showers expected overnight in the Atlas, the Rif, Saïss, and in the phosphate and Oulmès plateaus.

– A few snowflakes may fall on the peaks of the Atlas Mountains.

– Moderate to strong gusts of wind along the northern Atlantic coasts.

– Minimum temperatures are anticipated to be around -6 to -1°C in the Atlas, -1 to 4°C in the Rif, Oriental regions, and Southeast; 8 to 13°C in the south and near the coast; and 4 to 8°C elsewhere.

– Temperatures are expected to rise slightly or remain fairly stable.

– The sea will be calm to slightly choppy in the Mediterranean and the Strait, and somewhat rough along the Atlantic coast.
