CAN Final: Achraf Hakimi and Ismaël Sbaiari Among Those Penalized by CAF

The Disciplinary Commission of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced its decisions regarding the incidents that occurred during the final of the Africa Cup of Nations (Morocco 2025), held on January 18 in Rabat between the Moroccan national team and their Senegalese counterparts.

Among the sanctions issued, player Achraf Hakimi has been suspended for two (2) official matches sanctioned by CAF, one of which is deferred for a period of one year, due to what the commission classified as “unsportsmanlike behavior.”

On the other hand, player Ismaël Sbaiari has been suspended for three (3) official matches and fined 100,000 US dollars.
