Launch of Communication Tours by SRM Fès–Meknès in Taza to Strengthen Community Engagement and Improve Services

Ground Communication Tours Launched to Strengthen Citizen Engagement in Fès–Meknès
As part of the implementation of recommendations from the regular sessions of the Fès–Meknès Local Authorities Council, the Regional Multi-Service Company for Fès–Meknès has initiated ground communication tours. These tours are coordinated with the local municipal grouping and supervised by the Wali of the Taza province, in the presence of various elected officials, territorial leaders, and technical officers.
The primary aim of these tours is to enhance direct dialogue with citizens and to be attentive to their concerns, particularly in the areas of drinking water, electricity, and wastewater management. This meeting provided a valuable opportunity to address various issues, exchange perspectives, and propose concrete and feasible solutions.
Moreover, this initiative underscores the importance of institutional coordination among different stakeholders as a crucial lever for expediting the processing of issues and improving the quality of public services, especially in rural and semi-urban areas.
This initiative is part of a series of field meetings scheduled throughout April 2026, aimed at reinforcing the principles of good governance and monitoring the implementation of programs and projects. It ultimately seeks to enhance proximity and efficiency in the management of essential public services.
On this occasion, gratitude was expressed to the Wali of the Taza province for hosting this communication phase and for his ongoing support of collaborative coordination initiatives aimed at improving the quality of services offered to citizens.
