The second edition of the international padel tournament (Bronze category), marking the second stage of the competitions organized by the International Padel Federation, concluded on Sunday, April 19, in Marrakech.

According to a statement from the Royal Moroccan Tennis Federation, Moroccan player Mohamed El Alami made history by becoming the first Moroccan to reach the semi-finals of an International Padel Federation tournament.

Team up with Argentine Federico Morinigo, El Alami delivered a strong performance, eliminating several experienced pairs throughout the rounds. This achievement underscores the growth of his skills and competitiveness on the international stage.
Defeat in the Semi-Finals
In the semi-finals, the duo of El Alami and Morinigo faced the Spanish pair Francisco Cabeza Teres and Mariano González San Martín, the tournament’s second seeds. They were defeated in a closely contested match with scores of 6-1, 6-4.
A Title for the Spanish Pair
The tournament was ultimately won by Francisco Cabeza Teres and Mariano González San Martín, who triumphed over their compatriots Eduardo Sánchez Chamero and Alberto García Trabancho in the final, with scores of 6-7, 6-4, 6-3.
