The Underperformer Resumes the Championship and Propels AS FAR to the Top

National Professional Championship "Inwi" Sees New Developments

The Premier Division of the National Professional Championship "Inwi" has experienced fresh twists following the updates on two postponed matches from the 11th round. These results have directly impacted the standings, particularly marked by AS FAR’s ascent to the top of the table.

A Tight Race for First Place

AS FAR now occupies the top position with 30 points from 14 matches, taking advantage of their rivals’ missteps. Raja Casablanca follows closely in second place, also with 30 points but from 15 encounters, giving the military club an edge. Meanwhile, Wydad Casablanca rounds out the podium with 29 points from just 13 matches, lurking just behind with several games in hand that could propel them toward the top.

Increased Competition in the Upper Tier

Behind the leading trio, Maghreb de Fès maintains a solid fourth place with 28 points. Renaissance de Berkane and COD Meknès are hot on their heels with 26 points each, remaining competitive and in the hunt for top positions in the upcoming rounds.

A Hotly Contested Mid- and Bottom-Table

In the middle of the rankings, several teams are striving to establish stability and climb the ranks. Difaâ El Jadida sits in seventh place with 20 points, followed closely by FUS Rabat with 18 points. Other clubs like Kawkab Marrakech and Olympique Dcheira, both at 16 points, exemplify the intensity of the competition.

At the bottom of the standings, the fight for survival is shaping up to be challenging. Union Yacoub El Mansour is currently at the bottom with just 7 points, while Union Touarga (9 points) and Olympique Safi (11 points) remain under pressure and must act swiftly to avoid relegation.

A Promising End to the Season

Given the narrow gap between the leading teams and the inconsistent performances of certain clubs, the championship appears particularly unpredictable. The upcoming rounds are set to deliver intense excitement, both in the title race and the battle for survival.
