Casablanca Stock Exchange Starts the Week on a Positive Note

The Casablanca Stock Exchange opened this Monday with a positive trend, reflecting a generally optimistic atmosphere among investors.

MASI Continues Its Upward Trajectory
The main index, MASI, recorded an increase of 0.44%, reaching 19,220.44 points, confirming its upward trend at the start of the session.

Strong Performance for Sector Indices
The MASI.20 index, which tracks the 20 largest market capitalizations, rose by 0.73% to 1,408.3 points, bolstered by strong performances from leading stocks.

Meanwhile, the MASI ESG index, which encompasses companies adhering to environmental, social, and governance criteria, gained 0.53% to 1,367.63 points, reflecting the growing interest in responsible investment.

Small and Medium Capitalizations Lead the Way
The MASI Mid and Small Cap index recorded the best performance at the opening with an increase of 0.79% to 1,965.41 points, highlighting a favorable momentum for small and medium-sized enterprises.
