A Special Arrangement Implemented by ONCF for “Aïd Al Adha 1447”
On the occasion of Eid Al-Adha 1447, the National Office of Railways extends its best wishes to all its customers and has deployed a special transport plan from Wednesday, May 20 to June 7 to ensure comfortable, safe, and smooth travel conditions.
This plan includes the scheduling of additional trains as well as an enhancement of services on routes experiencing the highest passenger volumes.
Al Boraq: Trains on the Al Boraq line will operate at an hourly frequency between Tangier, Kenitra, Rabat, and Casablanca from 6 AM to 9 PM during outbound travel, with an additional train at 10 PM on peak days.
Capacity will be increased on high-demand time slots throughout this period.
- Al Atlas: The Al Atlas train services will also be bolstered through increased train capacities and the scheduling of additional trains on the main rail routes: Marrakech-Casablanca-Fes, Tangier-Fes-Oujda, as well as services to Oujda, Nador, Khouribga, and Safi.
- Rapid Shuttle Trains (TNR): The regular service will be maintained during the departure and return periods of Eid. However, an adjustment to the transport plan will be made on Eid day to align services with the expected demand that day.
In anticipation of this busy period, the ONCF is implementing an enhanced reception, assistance, and guidance system for travelers, both at stations and on board trains. Meanwhile, technical teams will be fully mobilized 24/7 to ensure smooth traffic flow. Thanks to the commitment of all operational teams, travelers will experience optimal travel conditions throughout this period.
To facilitate travel organization during this time, the ONCF encourages customers to purchase round-trip tickets in advance. Tickets can be bought through the following sales channels:
- At stations via ticket counters or Automatic Ticket Machines (ATM);
- Online at www.oncf-voyages.ma;
- Through the mobile application ONCF VOYAGES;
- At partner sales agencies (Cash Plus, Barid Cash, and Tasshilat).
On Eid day, the number of trains will be reduced. Customers are therefore invited to check train schedules for the entire period through our official channels:
