Laqliaa: SRM Souss-Massa Completes Connection of New 5,500 m³ Reservoir to Desalinated Water Supply

New Water Reservoir Connection in Laqliaa Completed by SRM-SM
The Regional Multi-services Company of Souss-Massa (SRM-SM) has successfully completed the connection works of the new Laqliaa reservoir, which has a capacity of 5,500 m³. This reservoir is integrated with the water supply system deriving from the desalination of seawater.
This milestone marks a significant step towards the commissioning of the facility, which will bolster the potable water supply and enhance distribution conditions in the city of Laqliaa.
The commissioning of the reservoir will strengthen local hydraulic infrastructure and support the evolving water needs of the population, especially in a context marked by the need for sustainable security of this vital resource.
Through this project, SRM-SM continues its efforts to improve the performance of distribution networks, enhance the continuity of service, and support territorial development while effectively utilizing resources obtained from desalination.
