Weather Forecast for June 1, 2026: Rising Temperatures Across the Kingdom
The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts relatively warm weather for Monday, June 1, 2026, in various regions of the Kingdom, particularly inland, in the Southeast, and in the Saharan provinces. As summer approaches, temperatures are expected to continue rising in several cities.
Foggy conditions are anticipated during the morning and night along the northern and central Atlantic coasts, while low clouds may affect certain coastal areas. Overall, the sky is expected to be mostly clear to partly cloudy across the majority of the national territory.
Maximum temperatures are likely to exceed 40°C in some regions of the South and inland areas. Marrakech could see temperatures soar up to 41°C, while Aousserd may reach 43°C. Béni Mellal, Taounate, Ouarzazate, Fès, Meknès, and Khouribga are also projected to experience high temperatures ranging from 35 to 38°C.
On the Atlantic coasts, the climate will remain more temperate due to oceanic influence. Casablanca and Rabat will have temperatures around 25°C, while Agadir and Dakhla will not exceed 24°C.
The national meteorological service also forecasts relatively strong gusts of wind in some southern regions, along the central coasts, and in the Atlas Mountains, along with localized dust events in desert areas.
This rise in temperatures indicates a gradual transition toward a more pronounced summer episode, especially in the Kingdom’s inland regions, where heat conditions are expected to intensify over the coming days.
