Bayern Munich announced on Saturday the end of German international Thomas Müller’s adventure with the Bavarian club, stating that the two-time Champions League winner will play his final matches wearing the Bayern Munich jersey at the Club World Cup, scheduled to take place from June 15 to July 13 in the United States.

Müller, who joined FC Bayern at the age of 10, has spent 25 years defending the colors of the Munich club, during which he played 743 matches and won 33 titles. FC Bayern emphasized on its website that “Thomas Müller has left a lasting mark on the history of the club.”

Bayern Munich plans to hold a farewell match to celebrate Müller’s “exceptional career,” which boasts one of the most impressive records in German football, including a World Cup (2014 in Brazil), two Champions League titles, 12 German championships, six DFB-Pokal cups, two UEFA Super Cups, and two Club World Cups.
