WafR Becomes Waly Cash and Accelerates Its Development in Moroccan Fintech

Moroccan Fintech WafR Rebrands to Waly Cash
Moroccan fintech WafR has officially rebranded itself as Waly Cash. Co-founded by Ismail Bargach and Reda Sellak, the company aims to continue its growth in the digitalization of localized financial services in Morocco.
Through this change of identity, the company aims to support the digital transformation of everyday financial services and strengthen its position with both merchants and consumers.
Nearly 20,000 Connected Outlets Across Morocco
Since its inception, Waly Cash has set out to facilitate access to everyday financial services by leveraging a network of small retailers.
The platform allows merchants to offer payment services, mobile top-ups, and various other digital financial operations. This model also provides them with opportunities to diversify their income streams while bringing financial services closer to consumers.
Today, Waly Cash’s network boasts nearly 20,000 active outlets spread across Morocco, catering to tens of thousands of users.
Funding Round to Support Growth
The rebranding comes as the fintech enters a phase of expansion. Waly Cash recently completed a Seed funding round led by LoftyInc Capital, Attijariwafa Ventures, and Al Mada Ventures.
This funding will enable the company to continue developing its platform and enhancing its digital distribution network across the Kingdom.
With this new identity and an established network already present in various regions of Morocco, Waly Cash aims to further its contribution to the digitalization of localized financial services.
