The 17th Edition of the El Jadida Horse Show: A Celebration of Equine Heritage
The 17th edition of the El Jadida Horse Show will take place from October 13 to 18, 2026, at the Mohammed VI Exhibition Park in El Jadida, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI. Organized by the Horse Show Association, this event has established itself as one of the largest gatherings dedicated to the equestrian world in Morocco and Africa.
Under the theme "The Horse at the Service of Humanity," this edition will highlight the numerous dimensions of the relationship between humans and horses, while promoting Morocco’s equestrian heritage and the developments within the equine sector.
An Unmissable Event for the Equestrian Industry
Since its launch in 2008, the El Jadida Horse Show has seen continuous growth. Throughout the years, it has affirmed itself as a benchmark platform for professionals, enthusiasts, and institutions committed to the development of the equine sector.
Thanks to the ongoing improvement of its infrastructure, organization, and entertainment offerings, the show contributes to promoting equine professions, supporting breeders, enhancing equestrian disciplines, and showcasing Moroccan expertise.
The Horse at the Heart of Human Development
The chosen theme for this edition, "The Horse at the Service of Humanity," sheds light on a historic relationship based on trust, cooperation, and mutual respect.
Beyond its role in sports and cultural activities, the horse continues to contribute to the economic, social, and heritage development of the Kingdom. This theme also emphasizes the importance of animal welfare and humanity’s responsibility towards horses, in a manner that respects their dignity and protection.
Elevating Morocco’s Status on the International Equestrian Scene
The 2026 edition will mark a new milestone in the international positioning of the El Jadida Horse Show.
The Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in Show Jumping will ascend to the prestigious CSI5-W level, a recognition that will attract more renowned riders and competitors from around the globe.
Additionally, another international competition will progress from CSI1 to CSI2*, further solidifying the show’s presence on the global equestrian sports calendar.
Tbourida: A Highlight of the Event
As every year, Tbourida, an iconic cultural heritage of Morocco, will occupy a central place in the programming.
The Grand Prix of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in Tbourida will be one of the event’s highlights, offering the public a performance showcasing the excellence of the sorbas, Moroccan equestrian traditions, and a craftsmanship passed down through generations.
Through this new edition, the El Jadida Horse Show reaffirms its ambition to enhance the international recognition of Morocco in the equestrian field while promoting the cultural, sporting, and economic values associated with the equine sector.
