AKDITAL launches its Academy to train its 10,000 employees.

AKDITAL Group Launches AKDITAL Academy to Enhance Workforce Skills
The private health group AKDITAL has taken a significant step in its strategy for skill development with the launch of AKDITAL Academy. This internal training initiative aims to support the growth of the network, enhance team expertise, and meet the evolving demands of the healthcare sector in Morocco.
An Academy to Support the Group’s Growth
The launch comes at a time of robust expansion for AKDITAL, which now employs 10,256 staff members across 45 facilities situated in 26 cities throughout the Kingdom, with a total capacity of 4,864 beds. Since the beginning of 2026, 362 new recruits have joined the organization.
With AKDITAL Academy, the group aims to further structure its training policy and establish a system capable of adapting to its human resource needs as its network continues to grow.
From Onboarding New Recruits to Career Development
The Academy will cover several aspects of employees’ career paths. The initiative is designed to facilitate the onboarding of new hires, support the professional development of current employees, and prepare team members for new responsibilities.
Training programs will combine theoretical instruction, practical exercises, and field immersion experiences. AKDITAL also plans to offer online training and leverage the expertise of industry professionals to facilitate the transfer of skills and best practices.
A First Cohort of 50 Employees
The inaugural cohort, consisting of around 50 employees from operational roles, marks the concrete launch of this initiative. The group plans to gradually expand the training programs to include other professional categories, particularly in paramedical roles.
This scaling will depend on the identified needs within various facilities in the network, with the goal of aligning available skills with the operational requirements of each structure.
Over 41,000 Training Hours by 2025
The creation of AKDITAL Academy aligns with an already established training policy within the group. In 2025, AKDITAL organized 462 training sessions covering 326 topics, benefiting 2,703 participants and totaling 41,822 hours of training. The new Academy is set to provide more coherence and visibility to these efforts by bringing together various initiatives under a dedicated structure.
Training to Support Internal Mobility
In addition to technical training, AKDITAL Academy is also expected to play a crucial role in integrating new hires and fostering professional mobility within the group. Its objective is to establish a common framework that facilitates the sharing of working methods and standards while supporting career development.
Mourad Benhammacht, General Secretary of AKDITAL, emphasizes that investment in skills development must progress at the same pace as infrastructure development. The challenge lies in anticipating the expertise needed due to the future expansion of the network.
Professor El Houcine El Ouardi, advisor to the AKDITAL presidency responsible for overseeing the Academy, highlights the importance of this initiative within the healthcare profession. In this sector, the quality of care is fundamentally linked to the competence of the teams and their ability to update their practices.
AKDITAL Continues Its Expansion in Morocco
Introduced on the Casablanca Stock Exchange in December 2022 under the symbol AKT, AKDITAL is concurrently expanding its network of facilities and enhancing its healthcare offerings throughout the Kingdom.
With the launch of AKDITAL Academy, the group adds a new dimension to its expansion strategy. Internal training is becoming a crucial tool to support network growth, enhance available competencies, and prepare teams for the future needs of the healthcare sector in Morocco.
