Bank Al-Maghrib Conducted Over 1,100 Financial Education Initiatives in 2025

Bank Al-Maghrib’s Commitment to Financial Inclusion and Awareness in 2025
Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM) has intensified its efforts in promoting financial inclusion and awareness, conducting over 1,100 financial education initiatives across its branches and agencies during the year 2025, according to its annual report on the economic, monetary, and financial situation.
These initiatives encompassed a range of ten modules related to the central bank’s primary missions and benefited over 50,000 individuals, with 30% coming from rural areas. This highlights BAM’s commitment to broadening access to financial education throughout the entire nation.
In addition, the bank organized several academic meetings focused on critical themes such as customer protection in banking, payment methods, participatory finance, and common-interest services.
Further solidifying this commitment, BAM’s branches and agencies held nearly one hundred thematic meetings in various regions of the kingdom, engaging with key stakeholders from the economic and financial ecosystem.
These discussions brought together consumer protection associations, Regional Investment Centers (CRI), local administrations, representatives from the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM), and professional chambers.
Through these efforts, Bank Al-Maghrib continues to uphold its pledge to strengthen financial literacy, protect banking service users, and promote financial inclusion on a national level.
