Casablanca Stock Exchange: Opening Downward, MASI Declines in Early Trading

The Casablanca Stock Exchange started this Monday’s session on a negative note. At the opening of trading, the main index MASI recorded a decline of 0.13%, settling at 17,997.78 points, confirming a cautious trend among investors as the week begins.
Main Indices in Decline
The MASI.20 index, which comprises the twenty largest listed companies by market capitalization, fell by 0.42%, reaching 1,327.57 points. Meanwhile, the MASI.ESG index, focused on companies rated highly for environmental, social, and governance criteria, experienced a slight dip of 0.03%, standing at 1,267.99 points.
The small and mid-cap segment did not escape this trend, with the MASI Mid and Small Cap index decreasing by 0.11%, to reach 1,826.21 points.
