CMT: New Directors Proposed at the General Meeting on September 1st

Shareholders of the Compagnie Minière de Touissit (CMT) are invited to convene for an Ordinary General Meeting (AGM) on September 1st in Casablanca. Several resolutions will be submitted for their approval, including the nomination of new members to the Board of Directors.

This meeting is expected to mark a new chapter in the governance of the mining company listed on the Casablanca Stock Exchange.

Five New Directors Proposed

On the agenda for the AGM is the appointment of Mohammed Benslimane, Vinesh Karia, Henri de Joux, Rishi Kansagra, and Sebastien de Montessus as directors of CMT.

These nominations will need to be put to a vote by the shareholders during the general assembly.

Terms of Six Years Proposed

According to the proposed resolutions, the new directors are expected to be appointed for a statutory term of six years.

Their mandates will run until the conclusion of the Ordinary General Meeting scheduled for 2032, which will address the accounts for the financial year ending December 31, 2031.

This timeline positions these nominations within a medium- to long-term framework for the governance of the Compagnie Minière de Touissit.
