The Fath Sportif volleyball team has successfully secured its place in the quarterfinals of the African Club Championship for men, held in Rwanda, following their victory on Wednesday evening against the Rwandan army team, winning three sets to one.

The Moroccan club started strong, clinching the first set 25-23, and then solidifying their dominance in the second set with a score of 25-18. Although the local team fought back to take the third set 25-22, Fath Sportif regained control and finished the match by winning the fourth set 25-21.

Anticipated Clash in the Quarterfinals

In the quarterfinals, the Moroccan representative will face Al Ahly, who advanced after a decisive 3-0 victory over the Ghanaian club Kalibi. This promises to be an exciting duel for a spot in the semifinals.

A Competitive Continental Championship

This African competition brings together 24 teams divided into four groups. The tournament’s winner will represent the African continent at the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
