Strategic Joint Venture to Enhance Smart Health Infrastructure in Morocco
The Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health (FM6SS) and ABA LIFE, the health arm of ABA Technology, have announced the upcoming creation of a strategic joint venture dedicated to the development of smart health infrastructures in Morocco. This partnership aims to strengthen the integration of advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, within the national healthcare system.
This future entity will focus on covering the entire value chain of the health sector, from medical research to telemedicine, public health, biomedical engineering, and biosurveillance. It also envisions developing innovative solutions based on clinical AI and precision medicine.
The project includes the establishment of applied research programs in the fields of artificial intelligence, connected health, and the "One Health" approach. Among the announced initiatives is an African epidemiological observatory designed to serve both regional and continental purposes.
In parallel, the joint venture intends to play a significant role in training healthcare professionals and enhancing digital skills, supporting the transformation of medical institutions and the adoption of new technologies.
From an economic perspective, this collaboration also aims to support the HealthTech and MedTech startup ecosystem, fostering innovation and the emergence of local technological solutions capable of addressing future healthcare challenges.
According to both partners, this initiative aligns with a strategic vision to position Morocco as a leading regional hub for smart health and medical innovation.
