Monday Weather in Morocco: Clouds, Scattered Showers, and Occasionally Strong Winds
The General Directorate of Meteorology predicts varied weather conditions across the Kingdom for this Monday, characterized by the presence of low clouds, some localized rainfall, and relatively strong gusts of wind in several regions.
Low Clouds and Fog Over Plains and Coasts
According to the forecasts, dense low clouds are expected to form during the morning and night over the northern and central plains, as well as in the northern regions of the Southern provinces. These cloud formations may be accompanied by localized fog banks and light rain in certain areas.
Localized Rain and Thunderstorm Risk
The High and Middle Atlas mountains, the southeast, and the eastern region will experience partially cloudy skies, with scattered showers and some localized thunderstorm activity.
Additionally, moderate to fairly strong winds will blow over the central regions and the Southern provinces, causing localized dust uplift.
Temperatures Decrease in Mountainous Areas
Minimum temperatures will range between 1 and 8 degrees Celsius in the mountainous regions of the Atlas and Rif. They will fluctuate between 14 and 21 degrees in the Moulouya region, the northwest of the country, the southeast, and the extreme south of the Sahara provinces.
In the rest of the Kingdom, minimum temperatures will be between 9 and 14 degrees Celsius.
Sea Conditions
The sea will be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean and the Strait, slightly rough to rough between Cape Spartel and Casablanca, and rough to very rough between Essaouira and Tarfaya. The rest of the coastline will experience rough seas.
