Exceptional Leave Granted for Eid Al-Adha Across Moroccan Banks
The Professional Group of Moroccan Banks (GPBM) has announced that an exceptional leave will be granted on Friday, May 29, 2026, across all banking institutions in the Kingdom in celebration of Eid Al-Adha.
Continuity of Essential Banking Services
In an official statement, the GPBM noted that each bank will be responsible for informing its employees and clients about the measures in place during this exceptional period.
The group also assured that essential banking services will remain accessible through digital channels, ensuring the continuity of operations and remote services.
Enhanced ATM Supply
Additionally, banks will ensure the regular replenishment of ATMs and their proper technical functioning throughout the duration of the leave.
This decision comes in the wake of the exceptional leave declared by the government for public administrations and local authorities to mark Eid Al-Adha, facilitating an extended weekend in several sectors across the Kingdom.
