Finnair resumes weekly service from Agadir to Helsinki.

Finnair Launches Direct Flights from Agadir to Helsinki

On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the Finnish airline Finnair launched a new direct route between Agadir and Helsinki at Agadir Al Massira International Airport. This service marks the airline’s return to the Souss capital after several years of absence and aims to enhance the region’s appeal to Finnish and Nordic visitors.

Scheduled with a weekly flight from October 2026 to the end of April 2027, this route will facilitate travel for Nordic tourists to Agadir and the Souss-Massa region during the winter season.

The resumption of this service comes amid a strengthening of air connections between Morocco and European markets. It is expected to boost tourist arrivals from Finland and solidify relations between the two countries.

The Nordic market has historically been an important source of visitors for Agadir. The return of Finnair thus presents new opportunities for regional tourism professionals, including hotels, travel agencies, tour operators, transport providers, and activity suppliers.

This new service could also pave the way for a gradual increase in flight frequencies in the upcoming seasons, as well as an expansion of air travel offerings to other cities in the Kingdom.

Through this resumption, Agadir seeks to strengthen its position in high-potential European markets and support the tourism dynamics of Souss-Massa by focusing on improved air connectivity and diversifying its source markets.
