Morocco’s Ambitious Air Connectivity Program with Ryanair Set for Winter 2026
Morocco is gearing up to launch its most significant air connectivity program with Ryanair for the winter 2026 season, aiming to boost the appeal of its tourist destinations and increase visitor arrivals from Europe.
The Moroccan National Tourism Office (ONMT) has announced that this initiative will encompass 156 air routes, including 17 new ones, representing a total capacity of 5.3 million seats and connecting the Kingdom to 14 European markets.
This expansion seeks to enhance air connectivity, recognized as a major growth lever for the tourism sector, while facilitating access for international travelers to various regions of Morocco.
Notably, the program will feature the launch of seven new routes from Rabat, five from Marrakech, and five from Agadir, along with an increase in Ryanair operations across 13 Moroccan airports.
This initiative will also support the development of destinations such as Fes, Tetouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador, through improved connections from several European cities.
This program underscores the strengthening of the strategic partnership between ONMT and Ryanair, reflecting Morocco’s commitment to solidifying its position as one of the leading international tourist destinations through expanded air connectivity.
