Maroc Telecom Reports Net Profit Decline in September 2026
Maroc Telecom reported a group net profit (RNPG) of 3.86 billion dirhams by the end of September 2026, down from 5.52 billion dirhams during the same period last year.
This decline is primarily attributed to exceptional revenues related to an agreement with Wana Corporate, which were recorded in 2025. Excluding this one-off effect, the group’s net profit shows an increase of 4.3%.
On an operational level, the consolidated operational result (EBITA) exceeded 8.62 billion dirhams, while EBITDA reached over 14.37 billion dirhams, marking a 4.9% increase. The EBITDA margin remains steady at 50.1%, supported by revenue growth and cost control.
Operational cash flow improved by 9.1% year-on-year, reaching over 7.14 billion dirhams. Investments, excluding frequencies and licenses, accounted for 20.1% of the group’s revenue.
As of the end of September 2026, consolidated net debt stood at nearly 21.02 billion dirhams, equivalent to one times the annualized EBITDA. This level remains manageable despite the distribution of a 3.5 billion dirham dividend to shareholders in September.
